Job Summary:
A Meal Service Coordinator is a vital role in directing and overseeing the administrative production and performance of the
Meal Service Program for the National School Lunch Program and Health Facilities in which Livy O’s provides meal services for.
The Meal Service Coordinator ensures the highest level of quality and consistency as it relates to essential duties of the meal
service program. In addition, the Meal Service Coordinator serves as the administrative correspondent for all facilities,
troubleshoots all challenges & successes, prepares administrative documents, maintains established operational standards, and
maximizing profits, while adhering to all administrative expectations that will meet or exceed company expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain positive client relationships and manages client accounts
Creates and plans all aspects of meal menu and meal menu management of meal services (performing edits as
needed) for contracted schools and facilities
Maintain accurate Food Service Department Documentation. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: NSLP
and Food Safety Logs, Production Records, Meal Pattern Signage, Nutrition Fact information, CN Labels, Invoice
Verification
Participates in new recipe development and taste testing events with faculty and/or
students and performs reoccurring client go-see’s to assure client satisfaction
Monthly invoicing to all schools and facilities, perform payment status follow-up (if needed), and post payments when
received
Expedite peak meal periods by maintaining a "hands on" approach
Assures the monitoring of food temperature logs are performed and filed for company records
Maintains high standards of safety and cleanliness
Coordinates meal service transportation routes to and from schools and/or facilities when new clients are added or if
edits to routes need to be made
Maintains high level of communication with food service transporters, kitchen staff, facilities
and all Livy O’s department managers/supervisors
Assist manager to achieve budgeted revenues, controls cost (which includes labor, food,
maintenance, etc.) and maximizes profitability related to the facility operations.
Creates weekly staff meeting agendas for meal service staff and takes meeting minutes
Always provides a professional image through appearance and attire
Requirements
Have 3 or more years of Administrative and/or Coordinator experience
Some knowledge in catering and/or restaurant experience
Must have friendly, service-oriented demeanor and the ability to remain calm and professional in
fast-paced environments
Excellent customer service, oral communications, interpersonal skills, and ability to give & follow directions
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift or carry 15 – 25lbs
Must have Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Must be available to flexible schedule

Executive Chef Annual Salary Range: $45,000 - $75,000
Description:
As Executive Chef, a vital role is directing and supervising food preparation for all food outlets of Livy O’s and ensure the highest-level quality and consistency as relates to food handling, food quality and food presentations while maintaining established operational standards and maximizing profits for Livy O’s Catering Company.
The ideal candidate will:

Creates and plans all meals & menus and costing for Corporate & Private Catering events and the NSLP program, and Livy O’s Café services. Implement, train, and management of systems, policies, and procedures. Oversees quality control of food and services.
Expedite peak meal periods by maintaining a "hands on" approach.
Works within monthly set food cost budget, adjust food requisitions and controls waste.
Oversees food outlets, buffets, stations and food displays for creativity, quality, cleanliness and food safety.
Assures efficiency, productivity, and that production staff is well trained and are in proper uniform.
Perform daily and weekly duties as needed.
Oversee the food and beverage services for group activities & catered events, and facilitate services agreed upon by the sales team and prospective clients.
Oversee the completion of food transport to and/or from suppliers, customers, banquets, etc.
Oversee and/or works frequent banquets and/or events both onsite and off-site.
Ensures all aspects of catering services is running smoothly and on schedule, to improve existing practices and services both in the front of the house and the back of the house.
Establishes and maintains positive relationships with wholesale vendors/suppliers and oversees or orders daily, weekly, and monthly catering food & supply orders.
Communicates financial information to the CEO, CFO, and Manager of Operations, including up-to-date budget information and financial plans for food and beverage.

Requirements:
Have 5 or more years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage experience or other successful F&B service industry, or a Culinary Degree with 2 or more years of progressive experience in Restaurant and Catering Industry or other successful F&B service industry.
Must be able to lift 25 – 50lbs

18 years or older
